These leaves produce a scale-like covering on the plant, which acts as a natural self-defense mechanism against extreme heat and arid desert conditions. Candelilla Wax is an excellent non-gelling thickener, viscosity enhancer and plasticizer, with extraordinary film-forming properties. It is safe to use on skin and is most commonly used in the production of lipsticks.

Candelilla Wax is used as a thickener for creams or solidifying agent for waxes. It is used to manufacture lip balms, lip sticks, lotions bars, soaps, stick foundations, and candles.
建議使用量 Typical Usage:
Lip Balm: typical use 4 part of oil to 1 part of wax.
Lotion: typical use level 0.1-1%.
Candle: typical use level 5-20%.
Handmade soap: typical use level 3-5%.
保存方法 Storage:
Store in a closed container at a dry and cool place. Away from direct heat and sunlight. Refrigeration is not necessary.
注意事項 Contraindication:
For external use only, and should not be ingested. Should not be stored within the reach of children. A patch test should be conducted on the inner arm or other generally insensitive area of skin, using a dime size amount to check for sensitivities.
