Tornare MG-60 from Hayashibara (Glycosyl Trehalose/Hydrogenated Starch Hydrolysate) is a natural starch derived syrup, comprising various kinds of natrual saccharides, which provides benefits to hair care, skin care and cleansing products. Tornare MG-60 is a ECOCERT organic certified product, ideally suited for providing retention of skin suppleness. A combination of Tornare and glycerine can be particularly helpful in optimising the hygroscopic balance of skin care products, with the glycerine helping to improve dry skin and the Tornare MG-60 helping to retain skin suppleness. The addition of Tornare greatly improves the texture and smoothness of skin care products, whether formulated in an emulsion or a lotion.
Tornare MG-60 can be used as a non-irritant in products especially formulated for sensitive skin. Furthermore it can even reduce irritancy or itchiness caused to sensitive skin by strong surfactants. When used in hair care products, Tornare MG-60 can improve the texture and body of hair, making it feels more luxuriant. The smooth coating provided by Tornare helps prevent the "scratchy feeling" (due to high friction) that is associated with some shampoos after washing.
