This Labdanum Absolute Clear is produced from cistus wildcrafted from areas that are mainly located in the hills of the Sierra Norte Natural Park in Spain. Cistus ladaniferus var. beta maculatus is the only species of cistus to be used in perfumery. Labdanum Absolute should not be confused with Cistus Absolute, whereas true Labdanum Absolute is 'always' solvent extracted resin of Leafy branches. It is extremely tenacious and has a powerful, deep, rich, sweet balsamic aroma with a faint herbaceous nuance and a persistent ambergris-like backnote.
