Grapefruit Seed Extract , also known as GSE, is a naturally potent antioxidant derived from the seeds and vibrant pulp of the grapefruit. GSE is particularly rich in phytochemicals such as Flavonoids, Ascorbic acid (Vitamin C), and Tocopherols (Vitamin E) that contribute to its preservative and disinfecting actions. It is used as a natural preservative in a wide range of cosmetic and skincare products to help stop the growth of harmful microorganisms such as fungus or bacteria and extend its shelf life. In water-based formulations, GSE must be supplemented by a full-spectrum commercial preservative.

This glycerine-based extracts are perfect for incorporating into water phase of your skin care formulas. Typical use level 1~10%. Not soluble in oil but can be used in an emulsion.
保存方法 Storage:
Store in a closed container at a dry and cool place. Away from direct heat and sunlight. Refrigeration is not necessary.
注意事項 Contraindication:
For external use only, and should not be ingested. Should not be stored within the reach of children. A patch test should be conducted on the inner arm or other generally insensitive area of skin, using a dime size amount to check for sensitivities.
